Do responders need a licence to carry out this work . . .
Yes, this is a regulated activity. All our key holding responders are fully licensed to carry out security duties in accordance with the security industries act.
How does key holding work . . .
Our security officers are fully trained to deal with your alarm activations, responding rapidly and taking appropriate actions to minimise loss and damage. They will liaise with the emergency services; ensure your property is left secure and provide you with a full written report of the incident.
Are my keys safe . . .
Yes, we have processes in place that records every action taken with your keys. First we photograph and register your keys on our system. Each key set is held in a number sealed pouch. When the key back is opened it is recorded in an incident report with key bag tag number. When finished with a new key tag is added.
Do you need to hold my keys . . .
No, we can carry out just external checks for signs of force dentry. Most alarms will reset after 20 minutes so your property will still be protected.
Do you guarantee a response time . . .
Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee a response time. This is because we are unable to anticipate local conditions such as traffic or weather at the time of the activation. We do guarantee to respond immediately and leave your building secure on exit and with locally based, fully trained, response teams.
Will you need to contact us out of hours . . .
Not unless pre-agreed by yourself.
How do i set this service up with Armour . . .
Simply call us on 01702-416201 or contact us via one of the forms on this pag. We will then forward a questionnaire, once completed we will organise a site visit to carry out a risk survey and pick up keys.
